Tree & Shrub Services: Performed by skilled personnel, including MCA & MCLP Certified Arborists, using up to date equipment, tools and materials. Fully Licensed, Bonded & Insured.

Removal of trees and shrubs, of any size, will be performed using specialized equipment operated by certified professionals. Removal of dead, declining or undesirable trees and shrubs are part of maintaining a safe and attractive property.

Pruning can help prevent property damage or injury from falling tree limbs as well as improve the overall health. Trees and Shrubs for ornamental or privacy purposes should be maintained to improve the appearance of your property.

Fertilizing for the health of your trees and shrubs. Urban trees and shrubs need added nutrient, which are seldom provided by nature alone, to build food reserves for growth. Healthy plants are better able to withstand the stress of urban living.

Stump Grinding of tree/shrub stumps, to below grade, will allow for planting of grass, flowers or small plants in the area.

Insect & Disease Control: Applied by MA Licensed Applicators and as recommended by the U-Mass Extension Service. Timing of all applications depends on weather and environmental conditions. Recommended applications are tailored to each individual property depending on environmental circumstances. After each application, unless otherwise established, a door tag is left at the door indicating the date, time, service provided, notes or instructions considered necessary and the name of the applicator. A tree label is attached onsite, in a location visible when approaching the property, when possible. We offer an Annual Call Before Service for any property owner that requests a phone call prior to each scheduled visit.

Winter Moth Applications to trees & shrubs for Winter Moth Caterpillar control, 2-3 applications in the Spring.

Spring Horticultural Oil to evergreens, shrubs and flowering plants for control of scale and over wintered insects & eggs. 1 application in the Early Spring.

Hemlock Oil Application for control of Hemlock Woolly Adelgid. 1-3 applications in the Early Spring, Summer & Fall.

Birch Application for control of Birch Leaf Miner. 1-2 applications, Mid-Spring & Summer.

Pest Management/Foliar Application to trees/shrubs for control of leaf chewing & sucking insects (Aphids, Canker Worm, Lacebugs, Japanese Beetle etc.) as conditions warrant upon arrival. 2-3 applications, Mid Spring & Late Summer.

Fungicide Application for control of fungus disease. 3-5 applications, Early Spring & Early Summer, Weather conditions may alter the number of applications required.

Black Vine Weevil Application to Rhododendrons & Yews. A minimum of 3 applications recommended, May-August.

Holly Application for control of Holly Leaf Miner. May require more than 1 application, May & July.

Euonymus Application for control of scale. May require more than 1 application, May & July.

Miticide Application to specified evergreens for control of spider mites. 1-3 applications, May & July..

Anti-Desiccant Application to newly installed plants &/or Broadleaf Evergreens to aid in moisture retention over the winter.

Annual Call Before Service includes a phone call, to the property owner, the day before the crew is scheduled to arrive.
An Annual Fee of $15.00 will be applied to accounts requiring phone notification prior to each visit.

Neighbor’s Authorization is required from the abutting property owner(s) if access to their property is necessary. Any portion of your plants overhanging an abutter’s property will not be sprayed without advance written authorization from the property owner(s), on an annual basis. It is the responsibility of our client to inform Lupien Tree & Landscape, in writing, if the ownership of the involved abutter(s) has changed and to obtain written authorization from the new abutting homeowner(s).
